Under my observation, I see that out of 100% of men, 90% of them would like to involve sex in a relationship. Is it important and the best way to keep the relationship healthy? Or is it concerning the two parties who want it just for fun and somewhat addicted to it. Their belief has already changed. I still remember in school, my teacher taught us that it is very sacred that partner should be married first before they lose their virginity, but now, not anymore.
Mostly Filipinas who are known as a “Maria Clara” and a conservative one was influenced already by other countries especially America, which have a big participation in the television or entertainment industry here in the country. They just simply flaunted their bodies, and sometimes get easily naked. Women nowadays are too aggressive that they are the one who’s courting a guy and liberally expresses their feelings towards the guy they like.
Of course this doesn’t mean women are more aggressive than men and men don’t throw in anything on this aspect. I think men are more liberated because they are men, simple as that. Boys will be boys. And the more experience they get the more proud they are. They just do it just to have something to brag among their friends, it’s like kiss and tell. Women are more anxious and unease in spilling it. But in men’s part, it’s something to brag about.
Sometimes on the net, when I had a chance to chat on MIRC or Yahoo Messenger, there’s always comes a time that a guy just mocked me and say one of these lines “Honey, are you horny?” or “Are you still virgin?” or “You can hire me, just name the price” or “What are you wearing?” Lines that have been replaced from the usual “Hello!” or “ASL” and leads to (CS) cybersex or sometimes (SEB) sex eyeball. I had asked some of them if anybody fall in with that idea just to answer my curiosity. And they answered me yes, and added that I’m just one of the few people who are unaware of it and against it. And so I wonder, is it really the fact that most youngsters these days really involved in that matter?
So I must say the conservative "Maria Clara" was already faded and here comes the liberated and aggressive Maria Clara now and we were really influenced by other countries that are too open for that matter.
That’s why casual sex is now spreading in our community, mostly this millennium compared to way back 1980’s. There’s also a premarital sex that most teenagers are encountering that leads them to being a parent at very young age or single parent or worst leads them to abortion because they are not yet prepared for such responsibilities.
